I think Ben Franklin would like the theremin

Summary: Ben starts a fire company and proposes a tax to fund a more professional police force. He also meets a traveling preacher.

Commentary: Titled: Interest in Public Affairs. 

Ben definitely had a lot of affairs, but he seems to have done a reasonable job of keeping them from being public.

Honestly, this section is more about other people (particularly Mr. Whitefield, the preacher) and not quite as interesting as he others.
